We aren’t able to host you at the studios at present, but we would love to welcome you for a virtual tour.

You can visit London’s leading studios for contemporary crafts and the UK’s only business incubator for makers and designers while complying with social distancing. Join us for a virtual tour using Zoom.

St Paul’s Girls School recently joined us for a virtual tour and their teacher said “It was fantastic, we really felt like we were in the studio with Onome”. Onome Otite, Textile artist said “I’m really excited by the prospect of having tours again! It’s a great way to share my work and connect with new audiences within my studio. Having led a Zoom tour for the first time this Summer I experienced plenty of engagement from the audience, even though they were not physically in my space. The ‘distance’ of zoom made it more comfortable for viewers to ask questions and I really enjoyed it!”

We welcome a range of different groups to the studios including, but not limited to, secondary schools, colleges and universities, special interest groups, collectors and craft/design enthusiasts.

We will introduce you to Cockpit Arts and what we do and you will visit one of our makers in their studio. Find out about our impact, learn about jobs in the creative industries – and routes to get them – and hear from a maker first-hand. There will be plenty of time for your questions too.
