News: London Craft Week and other Cockpit maker events in May

London Craft Week returns to the city this forthcoming May for its third edition. Cockpit is delighted to once again be a Craft Week partner and will be presenting an event at Leathersellers’ Hall on 9 May.

Hosted by curator, Brian Kennedy and Cockpit’s Head of Business Incubation, David Crump, this in-conversation morning will shine a spotlight on the many layers of support provided to makers by Cockpit, its associates and the London Creative Network Programme.

Discussing their creative journeys will be artist in wood, Eleanor Lakelin and gallerist Sarah Myerscough; ceramic artist David Marques and writer Corinne Julius; James Ducker and Deborah Carré of shoemakers Carréducker and leather  designer Bill Amberg; ceramicist, Leah Jensen and gallerist Natalie Melton.
