Loli Cardeñoso

Minimal but expressive studio ceramic pieces mostly executed in porcelain.

Painting and traditional pottery inspire my work - especially still-life compositions, which I find particularly compelling due to the quiet contemplation they suggest.

Loli studied Ceramic Design at Central St Martin’s as a mature student graduating in the year 2000. After graduation she received a Seedbed Award from Cockpit Arts and a Licentiate of Merit award from the Society of Designer Craftsmen.

She works in her central London studio creating minimal but expressive studio ceramic pieces, mostly executed in porcelain with a sparing but striking use of colour.
Since setting up her studio in September 2000 Loli has taken part in numerous exhibitions both as a ceramic artist and as curator.

Loli is a member of London Potters and a founder member of SAL (Spanish Artists in London)

"My main artistic objective is to give physical presence to an abstract idea while creating an intrinsically appealing object”

Bottles are some of the most representative and enduring pieces in Loli’s collection of decorative ceramics. The bottle forms recreate the interior volume of a glass bottle which gives the pieces their particular character.

Loli’s decorative porcelain vessels for interiors are often featured in the pages of interior decoration magazines such as Elle Decoration and Homes and Gardens.

Loli can create vessels personalised with messages from friends or you can commission your own commemorative piece.
