Hannah Refaat

Hannah uses traditional forms of embroidery in contemporary and inventive ways.


Hannah graduated from Royal college of Art in 2017. During her time in education she has been supported by the Edward Sharp award, The Eaton Fund and the Worshipful Company of Needlemakers.

Hannah is currently developing made-to-order accessories, bespoke commissions for private clients, and freelances for high-end fashion designers. She also creates embroidered textile swatches, selling directly to companies internationally. Hannah is based in Cockpit Arts Incubator in London, after winning the Radcliffe Craft Development Award 2018. During her time there she has designed a new line of embroidered luxury accessories. She is also a visiting Tutor at Loughborough University for First and Second year Students, studying the Textiles Course.

Hannah creates embroidered garments, accessories and Textiles for fashion bases purposes. These are produced on a made-to-order and commission basis.
