We are masters of the centuries-old craft of handsewn shoe making; creating shoes to commission, training enthusiasts in our craft and developing British-made ready to wear shoes and boots to order.
Carréducker are bespoke shoemakers who bring a distinct, contemporary aesthetic to their handsewn footwear.
Traditionally apprenticed, Deborah Carré and James Ducker, they make shoes and boots for private individuals - focusing on design, comfort and style. They deliver a bespoke shoe service, by appointment, at world renowned tailor Gieves & Hawkes on Savile Row and at James Purdey & Sons, Mayfair.
Carreducker also work with small, artisanal British manufacturers to produce a capsule of ready to wear shoes and boots available made to order and to buy online.
Keen to share their expertise, their new Shoe & Leather School in Shoreditch offers short shoe and pattern making courses, shoe making evening classes, masterclasses and saddle stitch classes; supported by a 'how to' blog and online tool and materials shop.
Carréducker is proud to be part of the permanent exhibition Designer Maker User at the new Design Museum in London and recipient of the QEST Award for Excellence.
