Cockpit Arts is currently accepting applications for the London Creative Network (LCN) programme. The LCN Programme at Cockpit Arts is a professional development programme designed to help craft makers to enhance their ability to advance their business – whether through new products and services, new ways of doing things, or both. It is unique in that it’s currently the only way that makers not based at Cockpit can access our business support free of charge.

On Cockpit Arts’ LCN programme, we work closely with makers to develop new processes, products and services, as well as giving a foundation of core business skills, leading to a more sustainable practice. Our rolling programme caters for all types of craft practices – from batch producers to artist-makers.

What makers have said about LCN….

“It’s a great resource for makers outside the Cockpit community. As your business grows you encounter all sorts of difficulties and it can be quite lonely working by yourself. So if you are a creative, why not tap into as many support resources as possible?” Josie Shenoy

“The range of speakers, who each have their own strengths, is amazing. The courses are really tailored towards creatives, which has made it really easy for me to engage with the topics and see how I can use the information and techniques.” Tessa Eastman

“So far, I already feel more confident in my work and I have been working on implementing what I have learned. I’m also looking forward to see how all the things I’ve learnt will come together.” David Marques
