Tessy Cooper is a jewellery maker working with traditional silversmith techniques and sustainable materials. She designs and hand makes modern pieces under the brand name Thousand Ores. Mostly self taught, Tessy continues to take silversmith and jewellery making classes at City Lit University and whilst working on developing her brand further.
Thousand Ores believes in beautiful and special pieces that can be treasured and worn for years to come. Focussed on classic design with a modern twist, pieces usually feature a minimal aesthetic an are inspired by fashion and architecture to nature and the environment. Thousand Ores always strives to be eco-friendly in every way possible to lessen impact on the environment through manufacturing processes, materials/ packing used, and reducing waste at the work place.
