We aim to preserve and revive the traditional forms of print-based graphic design that are often threatened with obsolescence.
SORT, The Society Of Revisionist Typographers consists of Messrs. Thomas Boulton and Theo Wang.
After graduating at the London College of Printing in 2003 where they studied typographic / graphic design, the duo formed SORT out of a desire to concentrate on their own particular type of print-based typographic design, using contemporary technologies fused with traditional letterpress printing processes.
Today SORT's products have the flexibility of modern day design, coupled with the individuality, quality and characteristics of the Victorian printing era. Through craftsmanship, dedication and patience they continue to keep alive the letterpress tradition and apply it to a contemporary setting.
SORT operate a private press; designing and hand-making notebooks, cards, stationery and ephemera. They also offer a wide range of print commission services for commercial or individual jobs; from bespoke designed products for retail to personal business cards and wedding stationery.
