Hannah is a textile designer, with a particular focus on a combination of both hand and machine embroidered textiles, created for the purpose of fashion. Material exploration is an important part of her practice. As a result, every material is carefully considered creating a contrast, using different weights and qualities with a variation of mediums. This hand-made quality combined with the process of detailed embroidery techniques draws together inspiration from the landscape, environment and the members of the community. Hannah has recently graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2017. During her time in education Hannah has been supported by the Edward Sharp Award, The Eaton Fund and the Worshipful company of Needlemakers. Hannah is currently working on commissions for private clients, as well as freelance work for high-end designers. She creates embroidered textile samples, selling to companies internationally. Hannah is the winner of the Radcliffe Art Development Award 2018.
